Every evening, three friends — Rishabh, Jeet, and Prem — would meet over a simple cup of tea.
What started as casual evening tea breaks slowly became conversations about India, its incredible craftsmanship, and the talented artisans whose work often remained unseen beyond local markets.
We kept asking ourselves:
“Why shouldn't the world experience the beauty of authentic Indian handicrafts?”
India has so many skilled artisans creating beautiful pieces by hand, using techniques and materials passed down through generations. Yet, finding the right valuable buyers who truly appreciate handmade craftsmanship was often a challenge.
One evening, somewhere between our conversations, ideas, and countless cups of tea, we decided to do something about it.
And Khaat Studio Was Born.
We wanted to create a platform that could connect authentic Indian craftsmanship with people around the world who value originality, artistry, and things made by hand.
Our goal isn't simply to sell handicrafts.
We want to tell the story behind them, celebrate the hands that make them, and introduce them to buyers who understand their true value.
From those evening tea breaks to building Khaat Studio, our journey is still unfolding.
